- The minimum adoption is 3 blocks or grains, which is US$ 60 (US$ 20 per block/grain), and the maximum adoption is whatever is left.
- When you 'adopt' Bodhi Mandala grains, you do not 'own' any part of the homepage or the site, but rather you are granted the right to submit an image, a message of not more than 200 characters long and a link which will then be published on the homepage for the respective block or grain you have paid for.
- You cannot change the image, message or link once you have submitted them, so please be sure of what you are submitting. The only exception to this rule is as follows: 1) Your site no longer exists, 2) lawsuits, 3) third party dispute of the ownership of the domain link which you have supplied.
- If your image, message and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund.
- No obscene/offensive/adult images/messages/links will be accepted. Since this is a Buddhist community site, we encourage Buddhist organizations and centers - from all mainstream schools and traditions, Buddhist individuals or groups, Dharma based service providers such as manufacturers, distributors, service providers and retailers to contribute in building the mandala. The final decision on what is appropriate or inappropriate content, however shall rest solely with the owner of Bodhi Mandala. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your blocks/grains.
- If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult/non-Buddhist material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.
- If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the homepage, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publicly available again.
- Images must be the exact size you have paid for (eg. for a minimum of 3 blocks/grains = 300 pixels (10x30 pixels)).
- Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size.
- Images must NOT be animated.
- Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://www.yoursite.com.
- You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.
- Funds must be fully received and cleared before your blocks/grains go live on the homepage
- Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (eg. in PayPal or bank account), your blocks/grains shall be online within 24-48 hours. However, there could be further delays should a lot of adoptions come in at the same time. When that happens, we seek your patience and understanding.
